Most of In-Tools plugins for CC require a minimum version of 9.2.0 to function properly. You can verify your version by Command/Control clicking on "About InDesign". The dialog has lots of fine details about the installation including the exact build number that's installed.

FYI everybody else - this was an Adobe CC issue. CC told me my Indesign was up to date, but it wasn't. Once I'd uninstalled and reinstalled, Power Headers worked flawlessly.

I've sent the vendor an email and posted here, but no response.

Wouldn't mind so much if this was just a bug, but I've yet to see the 'software' work at all.

Guess the next step is to make a claim on my CC.

Huy guys, running the latest Power Headers with Indesign CC on Mac.

Have added a variable in my header, I can see the variable name ok, but it's unitiated. So, I press Update Document Headers and after a few seconds InDesign crashes - just before it goes down there is a Power Header dialog box showing a progress bar, as it gets to the end InDesign crashes.

At first I thought there may be something wrong with my doc, but same thing with a new doc.

I tried reinstalling Power Headers but same result.

Guessing I'm doing something wrong.

Any pointers for me?

OSX Mavericks, InDesign CC (V9) with all latest CC updates.

Many thanks,

Chris
