You would then be able to choose to protect supersedes, and the shading will appear in the header. In the event that that won't work with your setup. I don't perceive how Power Headers will help in your circumstance.

Hello,

I have used Power Headers successfully in the past, but something is going awry this time: When I update the document headers, the running head chapter text reverts to the placeholder text from the master page, even though the running heads are unlocked from the master page. This particular file contains pages moved from another file; I don't know if that is causing the problem. Is there a way to completely unlock the running head frames from the master page? Or is there a way to remove the header frame label from the master pages, perhaps?

Thank you,

Hi All
Have downloaded trail version for CC and I working with the current updated version of CC as of June 17th.
Have a rule book I'm working on and would like to have all the rules that appear in a numbered list appear in the header.
My rules are all created in a numbered list.
So its just the numbered list I want to appear in the header. So defined the variable, all ok and set Don’t Transfer Text, and Copy Paragraph Numbering, when I set All Instances I get the Numbers and the TEXT even thou I have clicked don't transfer text . I’m probably doing something stupid?
