I have a problem with AutoFlow Pro. I have 2 text threads. When adding text at the end of first thread when AutoFlow attempts to add page before pages which contains 2nd text thread - InDesign hangs up. I can send a file that illustrates the problem.

Win 7 64 bit, InDesign CS4, AutoFlow Pro 2.0.2

hello?

by the way - I found this in Story Control description:
"When a story is broken into smaller ones using Story Control, AutoFlow Pro can be used to automatically add pages as necessary. These pages will be added between stories, and will not adversely affect the layout."

Is Control Story necessary to achieve what I need?
I installed trial version of Control Story and problem persist.

No. InDesign should never hang. If it does, that's something we need to address.

Thanks for the file.

 

It was in fact a bug. I found and fixed the problem. I emailed you an updated version.

 

The fix will make it into the next official update. If anyone else encounters Mirek's problem before then, feel free to ask me for the updated files!
