I just installed the demo of Power Headers. However, I'm having difficulty getting it to work. I have a frame on chapter title pages from which I'm wanting to pull the text for running headers (finding via paragraph style). Are there known issues in the latest InDesign?

No. Power Headers is fully compatible with CS5.

Have you followed the steps in the manual for setting up the variables?
