World Tools panel won't show World Tools Forum

This has just started happening on my system as well. I've been using the World Tools Pro CJK panel in CS6 (Windows) daily for months, and suddenly the panels won't show.
I have reintalled the WTPro plugin, this failed. I then un/reinstalled InDesign and reinstalled the WTPro plugin, this failed also. Why is this happening?
We've been getting a lot of emails the lst two days about World Tools and World Tools Pro not showing in CS6.
Quite frankly, I'm pretty stumped by the symptoms. We've never (or almost never) had reports of this before and all of the sudden we've gotten a flood of reports in two days.
It's not a universal problem (i.e. not all installations of CS6 have this problem), and I think it's common to Mac and Windows. It does seem limited to CS6.
As far as I can tell it's not related to an InDesign update.
I'd like to try and track down the source of the problem. I'd appreciate it if anyone having the problem could supply their exact OS as well as the exact version of InDesign (you can find that by Command/Control clicking on "About InDesign".
Also, if you've updated your OS recently or your Flash plugin, that might be a clue.

When you say the panel does not show, does that mean nothing shows on the screen, or does the outline of the panel show up, but it's empty of content?
Mine stopped working today. I did a security update this morning. I'm running OSX 10.9.2 and InDesign CS6 v8.0.2. When I try to open the CJK panel from the Windows drop down menu nothing happens. When I open one of the other panel in the group it's in the outline of the panel shows up but its empty. I tried reinstalling the plug in software and restarting InDesign. I am going to try rebooting the system next.

Thanks for the info.
Have you done a Flash Player update recently?
Flash Player is Version 11.4.402.265 (11.4). The last date modified shows April 11, 2014, which was when I had to reinstall CS6 due to issues with installing CC (another story). I've used the World Tools plugin since then (last week). I also shut down and started up the computer again but it didn't help.
Thanks for all the posts! For me this problem DOES seem to correspond to a Flash Player update:
FlashPlayer: 12.0.0.77 - last modified date of C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Flash Player\AddIns\airappinstaller\airappinstaller.exe and surrounding files (also in \Common Files\Adobe\) is 22/04/14 which is when I started experiencing the problems.
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium V 6.1 (Build 7601:Service Pack 1) - not updated recently
CS6 ME: 8.0.1 - not updated recently
The CJK, ME & Composite Font Editor panels don't show up at all (not just with empty boxes, nothing).
Note the Composite Font Editor used to show up as a blank box, it never worked in CS6 ME.
I installed the trial version of WTPro in CC ME, and it works fine (except for the recurring issue of the Comp. Font Editor being a blank box). Can this be fixed, by the way? Or does World Tools Pro ME have a Reverse Layout function so I can scrap using CC ME?
It does not seem related to the Flash Player version. (Users seem to have this problem with multiple versions of Flash installed.
It might be connnected to the AIR Runtime version. I'd appreciate it if anyone having this problem could check the AIR Runtime currently installed:
InDesign was not updated recently, but we did have a Windows update around the time it stopped working but I seem to recall that it
stopped working before I restarted my computer and applied the changes.
Air version is 13.0 (file version is 13.0.0.83). It does
say that the file was updated on 22APR2014 which seems to coincide with World Tools
breaking.
As for the symptoms, I had World Tools pinned to my side
ribbon, so when I clicked on it the panel appeared, but with no contents, but
now that I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, I can't get the panel to
come up at all.
I think I've identified the source of the problem. It seems to me a bug in the way Adobe handles security...
Until I can resolve it, here's a work-around that should get it working:
There's a flag deep in Adobe's preferences which allows for debugging extensions. When the flag is set, the security restrictions for extensions are lighter than if the debug flag is not set. (I think the security restrictions for Extensions and the need for electronic signatures are silly to start with...)
Either way, here's a link that explains how to set the debug flag:
http://cssdk.s3-website-us-eas.....ugging.htm
Read the section called "Troubleshooting Tips". Basically you need to set the PlayerDebugMode to 1.
For example, in the Mac com.adobe.CSXS.3Preferences.plist (for CS6), when opening the file in an app like TextWrangler, you should have some lines trhat look like this:
<key>PlayerDebugMode</key>
<string>1</string>
Please try setting the flag and let me know if it solves the problem.

Here are links for replacement extensions that should work without playing with the debug flag settings. Install using the Extension Manager. Please test and let me know if the problem is resolved.

For the Dashboard (which might have the same problem):

Please ignore any security warnings you might get when installing the extension.
