Below are links for various scripts of varying degrees of usability. Some scripts might require APID to be installed. If so, it will be noted. You can use any of the scripts on this page for your personal use, but please note that not all of these scripts have been checked well for bugs. Use at your own risk!

Here's a script (requested by David Blatner) which directly applies nested styles. Warning: this script will override any manually applied character styles which conflict with the nested styles! To use download and expand this script.
This is a simple script which merges two tables. You can select to either merge horizontally or vertically. To use the script, select two tables and run this script.
